UnlurUnlur
Designer: Jorge Gomez Arrausi Unlur is a game for two players, played on a hexagon-shaped tesselation of hexagons with eight hexagons on each side. (The game is played on a large hexagon, which itself has eight hexagons on each side.) A larger board makes the game deeper, and a smaller board makes the game faster. Unlur is played with black and white stones. There are two players, Black and White. Each player only places stones of his colour. Black starts and then players alternate moves. In each turn a player places a piece of his colour on any vacant hexagon. A player is not permitted to pass. The game is won by White if he makes a line (a connected group of stones of the same colour which is connected to two opposite sides of the board.) The game is won by Black if he makes a Y (a connected group of stones of the same colour which connects three non-adjacent sides of the board.) If one player makes the opponent's objective he loses, unless he makes his winning condition at the same time. Draws are imposible. One player must win.
