Designer: Daniel Solis Equipment:
Pretty simple game here, essentially taking elements of Tetris and Connect 4 and laying it flat on a board instead of vertically. On your turn, you can either place a stone on the board or move a stone that’s already been placed. You can only place a stone on either player’s side of the board or on the open end of a vertical line of stones linking to a player’s side of the board. These vertical lines are called “columns.” Stones can move one space horizontally either left or right. If the new space doesn’t have any stones separating the moving stone from the edge, it “falls” to the nearest player’s side of the board until it hits a column or the edge. If a stone is removed from the middle of a vertical column, the remaining stones in that column also fall. If at the end of your turn, four of your stones are in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal row, they are removed from the board and any remaining stones settle to their respective sides of the board. Finally, the only stones that cannot move or be removed are the stones on the edge. You win the game if you fill the four rows on your side of the board or remove 12 of your pieces. |
