• I'm still trying to update the list so that each game has its own web page (so far, I've gotten all the way up to K.) Once I complete this task, I'll add more games to the list weekly. Until then, I'll stick to 10 a week....

• To make things a little more managable for myself, I've set a goal to add 10 games to the list each week. At 10 a week, it should only take another year or so for me to add every free game on the internet to GiY... (no joking, my best estimate is that there are something like 500 more games out there that haven't been added to the list yet.....) Of course, new games are posted to the internet every week, so it will always be a 'work in progress'....

• If y'all were ever wondering if I'd ever run out of games to add to the list.... well, don't worry. As far as I can tell, there are a few hundred more for me to add (that I know of.) Sometimes I just have to say it out load (so to speak) just so I can grasp the enormity of the task that I've taken up. Don't get me wrong -- I'm enjoying this immensely, but I wonder just how big this list'll be when I'm through (assuming that I even complete the list.) That said, please let me know about any free games that aren't yet on my list.
• I realized that I had some broken links on all of the new games that I added last week, as well as a few games from the week before. The problem has been fixed.
• I've added 15 new games to the list.

• Thanks to one of my visitors (namely the kaptain), I was able to fix some broken links. Thanks again, kaptain!

• Another update! Looks like things are (mostly) back to normal. BTW, I'm moving the game entries to individual pages for each game, so if you find any broken links or other weirdness please let me know.
• The website now has a logo, thanks to my son. It's in the upper right corner of this page. Hope y'all like it.

• The question that is probably on all of your minds is --- why have there been no updates in over 3 months?!? The short answer is -- I've been busy. To make up for the delay, I've added xx new games. I've also added 2 new sections -- Abstract Games and Educational Games. As always, enjoy.
• I've also updated the Random Game of the Week. I plan to update at least the RGotW on a weekly basis, even if nothing else is updated or added.

• Woah! I've added 15 new games to the Canonical List. As I said last week, I'm concentrating on Icehouse and piecepack games. I plan to keep adding other games too. Stay tuned....

September 23^rd, 2006

• Missed my weekly update last week -- been quite busy. Wasn't able to do much this week either, but I have added some new games and have selected a new Random Game of the Week.
• I plan to spend the next few weeks adding Icehouse games and piecepack games to the list. If you aren't familiar with either Icehouse or the piecepack, I recommend that you check both of these game systems out
• 3 new games have been added to the Canonical List.

• Hooray! I've completed updating the Canonical List -- letters T to Z were finished this week. This also means that the game category pages are also complete. Whew!
• I've added two new game categories -- Domino and Tile Games and Sports-themed Games. I've moved several games from the Miscellaneous section over because of this. Check out the Updated Games list to see which entries were affected.
• 3 new games have been added to the Canonical List.

August 26^th, 2006

• You may have noticed that the categories aren't complete yet. That is because I'm still working on updating all the pages on this website -- so far, I've updated the Canonical List up to letter S. Once that is done, the game categories will be complete. I'll probably be adding more game categories soon -- stay tuned.

• I've added a new feature to the main page -- the Random Game of the Week. You can find it below the website description in the center column.
• I've updated the website description to accurately describe what Game-it-Yourself is all about. Tell me what you think...
• I've added 11 new games. Also, I've decided to keep a running list of new additions, separated by dates, on the new games page.

• It's fixed! I've fixed the rendering problem with Internet Explorer -- now all you IE users that have not been able to clearly read the content on this site should have no problems. However, if you are still having trouble viewing the site, please drop me a line.

• It seems that my website doesn't render properly in Internet Explorer -- I've fixed some of the problems and am currently working on the rest. Wish me luck (grin). The site renders just fine with Firefox, though....
• I've added a search feature to the website, compliments of Google. You'll find it on the left sidebar, near the bottom.
• I've changed the look of the menu buttons on the left column -- thanks to Javascript Kit for the code.
• 4 new games have been added to the Canonical List.
• I've completed updating the Canonical List from letter N to letter O

• I've started a new Yahoo! Group dedicated to the discoussion of free print-and-play games named (appropriately) printandplaygames -- The Free Print-and-Play Games Yahoo! Group. If you are interested in joining, you can either go to the group's website or you can enter your email address in the form that's on the left side of the page.
• 7 new games have been added to the Canonical List.
• I've completed updating the Canonical List from letter D to letter J
• I've started adding more graphics to the website, mostly clipart from free sources -- just a little something to spruce the place up a bit.... BTW, if you are a game designer that has a game that is featured here and would like me to use one of your images of the game (it can be a logo, photo of the game, or anything like that), please drop me a line.

• I have added several new games! I'm slowly going through the list of submissions that I have received over the last few months -- if you don't see your submission yet, please be patient. It'll be up as soon as I can get to it. BTW, if you have any games to submit please drop me a line.
• I've received a report from one of my visitors that the pages on the site aren't displaying properly. If you're having trouble viewing the website, please drop me a line. In the message, please include the browser you use (Internet Explorer, FireFox, AOL, whatever) and your operating system (Windows XP/2000/Me/98, MacOS X, some flavor of Linux, whatever) -- this will help me troubleshoot any problems.
• I've completed updated the Canonical List up through the letter C.

• Back again after all these months! Lots of changes to the website -- mostly cosmetic, but I've also added several new sections. Take a look around and see what you like....
• I've added separate sections for the different types of games to make browsing a little easier -- Board Games, Brick Games, Card Games, Dice Games, Icehouse Games, Miniatures Games, Pen and Paper Games, piecepack Games, Wargames, Word Games, and a Miscellaneous section. They aren't completed yet, but I'm working my way through as fast as I can....
• I've also added a section called Games that are no longer free. I've gone through the entire list of games and moved any games that are no longer freely available to this page. Sadly, the list is fairly large.
