It is the dawn of time and the cosmic turtles are gathering. Each turtle wants to be the one at the top of the tower that will eventually hold up the world.

Equipment:

  • 4x4 board
  • 24 six-sided dice in each of two colors

The core mechanic of the game is turtles crawling on top of each other, forming ever-growing towers of turtles. On your turn, you can move a turtle of your color one space in any direction. Whoever’s turtle is at the top of a tower owns the turtles in that tower. When it becomes evident that no further turtles can be moved without having them all fall down, the game is over and both players must count how many turtles they own. Whoever owns the most turtles wins.

If someone knocks over a tower during the game, regardless of the circumstances, they automatically lose.
